Mission Statement

Inspired by the life of Paul Robeson, we, the Paul Robeson High School community, commit ourselves to instill and perpetuate his belief that it is the destiny of our children to contribute and share in the fruits of the American Dream. Therefore, we must cultivate an environment which enriches the academic and social lives of our students and fosters the pursuit of excellence. We believe that the education provided here must instill students with a consciousness of their rich cultural heritage, an appreciation of their ability to shape the present, and an empowered anticipation of their future. We will prepare our students to use business and technology to achieve their personal best, to fulfill their responsibility to their community and to positively influence the course of events in the 21st century.
