It is summer time,
but why is the sky red?
Today, the breeze is warm,
but why do I feel cold?
Today it is bright outside,
but why do I feel dark inside?
Something doesn’t feel right…
Oh, no….
I remember now,
It’s global warming!
Pollution, ruling us
like slaves in a wasteland.
Heat waves, ruling us
like slaves in hell.
We cause this to happen.
We make ourselves prisoners
in our own community.
Global warming,
Our ruler,
Our dictator,
This is no dream.
It’s a nightmare come true -

As Darkness fills my face,
I haunt.
I become haunted.
By the air I breathe,
at the ease of the shadow,
it is death I see.
I follow the leader
of the world made chaotic.
We control what has been.
We lost control of what is to become.
To the toll of expenses,
billions of dollars gone.
I take my heart, and
Put it on my head.
As I am one with destruction,
end pain.
I am the key to this life,
after Death.
As I search
deceased becomes found.
